She has studied with Martin Smolka, Jaroslav Šťastný, Martijn Padding, Gillius van Bergijk and Michael Pisaro.

Miss Zukerman studied English at Barnard School and received a B.M. from The Juilliard School the place she studied with the famend flutist Julius Baker.
